Use solar light to charge during the day and light up public spaces.

There are three main opportunities here:

1) Urban Highways

Most of Mexico’s national highways lack of decent lightning and most of the time its un-existing. this us due the cost of bringing down usable voltage installation.

2) Public Urban Spaces

While electricity might be considered ubiquitous in urban spaces, it still causes a lot of trouble, costs and maintenance. Solar Energy can be used both as urbann landscape decoration, art pieces (or at least remove hanging wires) and above all it can reduce the amount of electric costs used to light the street and public areas.

3) Private Industrial Spaces

Energy costs is a major issue for any industry.

Private companies can use solar energy to reduce the electricity bills, reduce the heat island effects. By letting solar energy be the prefered source of energy to light up spaces and letting wired electricity kick in only when solar energy has been used up.

I have been rather fond of this idea.

Potential for large volume contracts, and budget/environmental impact.
